Last month, Oppo unveiled its flagship smartphone series, the Find X7. The Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra models are now the highest standard in the company’s lineup, but information about their predecessors has already started to emerge. An insider has revealed details about the chipsets in the Find X8 series. Let’s take a closer look.
The news comes from an insider nicknamed Smart Pikachu, who shared the information on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. Although the Find X8 series is still far from being released, Smart Pikachu claims that Oppo’s flagship smartphone, which will be launched next year, will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipsets from Qualcomm and the Dimensity 8400 chipset from MediaTek.
The insider claims that the higher-end model, Find X8 Ultra, will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, while the base model, Find X8, will receive the Dimensity 8400 chipset. Smart Pikachu also emphasized that the Find X8 Ultra will have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor integrated into the screen, while the Find X8 will likely offer an optical fingerprint sensor also integrated into the screen for increased security.
As a result, the Find X7 model, equipped with the Dimensity 9300 SoC chipset, recently topped the AnTuTu list for January 2024.
