This information has sparked speculation about the potential Windows 12. The current system, Windows 11, is still being developed, and its future has not been decided yet.
Windows Latest noticed a direct reference to Windows 11 24H2 in the latest HP documentation. Such a reference suggests that Windows 11 will receive at least one “major” update of this kind. However, new system features are regularly introduced through the so-called “Snapdragon Updates,” which are released independently throughout the year.
The release of Windows 11 24H2 fuels speculation about the future of Windows 12. Although no official announcements have been made yet, there is a belief that Microsoft will make such a move, and Windows 11 will continue to receive further updates until the system’s development is limited to security patches.
However, the issue of a potential Windows 12 is still undecided, especially after an Intel documentation referenced this name last year, which was later removed. There is a possibility of simultaneous release of Windows 11 24H2 and the new Microsoft system.
