Leo Woodall, known for his breakout performances in “White Lotus” and “One Day,” will lead the cast of the upcoming Apple TV+ thriller “Prime Target.” Joining him is Quintessa Swindell, star of “Black Adam.”
Produced by Ridley Scott’s Scott Free, “Prime Target” tells the story of Edward Brook, a young mathematics graduate who uncovers a hidden pattern in prime numbers that has the potential to revolutionize computing. However, as Edward delves deeper into his research, he discovers a covert enemy trying to destroy his revelation. This leads him to Taylah Sanders, an NSA agent assigned to monitor mathematicians, played by Swindell. Together, they uncover a dangerous conspiracy that could change the world as they know it.
The series, consisting of eight episodes, features an impressive cast including Stephen Rea, David Morrissey, Martha Plimpton, Sidse Babbett Knudsen, Jason Flemyng, Harry Lloyd, Ali Suliman, Fra Fee, and Joseph Mydell. It is directed and written by Brady Hood, known for his work on “Great Expectations,” who also serves as an executive producer alongside Ridley Scott and other notable names.
“Prime Target” will be produced by New Regency’s London office, the same company behind “The Beast Must Die.” Woodall is represented by multiple agencies, including The Gersh Agency and Anonymous Content, while Swindell is represented by Gersh and Myman Greenspan Fox Rosenberg Mobasser Younger & Light, LLP.
