Nabywanie Eqlipse Technologies przez BlueHalo wzmocni branżowe możliwości

BlueHalo, a company dedicated to transforming the future of global defense, has announced plans to acquire leading provider of products and solutions for the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community – Eqlipse Technologies (“Eqlipse”). With Eqlipse’s technical talent and innovative products, BlueHalo will be able to provide its customers with greater scale and wider capabilities, accelerating the development and implementation of modern defense technologies.

The transaction is expected to be finalized in the first quarter of 2024, with BlueHalo’s current CEO, Jonathan Moneymaker, leading the combined company. The combined company will employ nearly 2,400 employees in 11 states and achieve an annual revenue approaching $1 billion.

Since 2019, BlueHalo has been a trusted partner of the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community, serving as the prime contractor for priority projects such as the $1.4 billion military satellite communication program for the Space Force. The company is also a leader in combating autonomous unmanned systems and providing radio frequency counter-UAS systems.

On the other hand, Eqlipse offers a portfolio of solutions including cyber engineering and signals intelligence (SIGINT), electronic warfare (EW), digital operations and identity management, as well as research and development. The merger of Eqlipse with BlueHalo will enrich the company’s offering with products and capabilities in the areas of electronic warfare, cyber security, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and innovative development opportunities.

After the transaction is completed, BlueHalo will hold nearly 90 patents, employ over 200 PhDs in relevant fields, and offer 20 product lines that will encompass high-quality solutions in four key areas: space, C-UAS and autonomous systems, cyberspace, and artificial intelligence (AI) – all priority areas for the Department of Defense. The company will be headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, and will continue to invest in the latest defense technology advancements.

This strategic combination of BlueHalo and Eqlipse creates an innovative environment that enables the development of new technologies for defense and intelligence clients at a pace that other companies cannot achieve. In this dynamic and uncertain environment, BlueHalo and Eqlipse are ready to be at the forefront of the industry and deliver innovative solutions that meet the most complex requirements of their customers.
