“Within Our Lifetime” and its associated accounts, including those of its founders, Nerdeen Kiswani, were disabled due to violations of Instagram’s community guidelines. While the group’s page on Facebook remains active, Instagram had the largest reach for them.
Meta, the owner of Instagram, stated that the actions taken against the group were a result of violations of the “Dangerous Organizations and Individuals” policy. In recent months, “Within Our Lifetime” and Kiswani used Instagram to endorse the October 7th Hamas attack as a “necessary means” for Palestinian liberation.
