The ESP32-C6 board is open-source hardware, and SparkFun provides project files (EAGLE and Gerber), some documentation, and datasheets on GitHub. It’s worth noting that the documentation is distributed as MD files, which provide instructions for programming on the Arduino platform.

The market for development boards based on the ESP32-C6 chip is becoming increasingly crowded, ranging from inexpensive WeAct ESP32-C6 modules to DFRobot FireBeetle 2 boards that support LiPo batteries, and Olimex ESP32-C6-EVB boards with additional home automation features, among many others. The “Sparkfun Thing Plus – ESP32-C6” board offers another option, characterized by its larger flash memory (16MB) than most competing products, as well as compatibility with Qwiic modules and the Thing Plus form factor.

The manufacturer offers this board for $19.95 plus shipping costs on their website.
