Aston Martin Odświeża Model Vantage z jeszcze większą mocą

Aston Martin has unveiled a thoroughly refreshed version of its sports car, the Vantage – the entry-level model for the British brand. The current Vantage was introduced in 2018 and has always been considered the sportiest version in Aston Martin’s lineup. However, a series of changes have now been implemented to make it the “most driver-focused and fastest Vantage” in the brand’s history.

The key to these changes is a significantly more powerful 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that generates a staggering 656 horsepower, an increase of 153 horsepower. The torque has also increased by 115 Nm to 800 Nm. As a result, the Vantage is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and reaching a top speed of 325 km/h. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission from ZF.

This impressive increase in performance has been achieved through a series of changes to the powertrain, such as larger turbochargers and improved cooling, as well as modifications to the gearbox to provide even more dynamic acceleration across the gear ratios.

Aston Martin has strengthened the chassis stiffness to enhance the driving experience and made changes to the steering system. Specifically for the new Vantage, Michelin has created tires that perfectly match the standard 21-inch forged aluminum wheels. A adjustable traction control system has also been added, offering various settings depending on the driver’s skills and confidence.

The design of the new Vantage draws inspiration from the DB12 model and features a newly designed front with a significantly larger grille and Matrix LED headlights with a new Aston Martin light signature. The side mirrors are now frameless and the door handles are retractable. The rear of the car remains largely unchanged compared to the previous version.

The interior has undergone a significant modernization, presenting a much more contemporary look than its predecessor. The overall appearance is similar to the DB12 model, and the centrally mounted 10.25-inch touchscreen allows for expanded smartphone connectivity and gesture control. Many controls have been integrated into the screen, but key functions, such as drive mode selection and air conditioning, are still physical buttons.

Production of the new Aston Martin Vantage will begin in March at the brand’s main factory in Gaydon, Warwickshire, with the first deliveries expected in the summer.
