Kolejna faza rozwoju platformy edukacyjnej Examfly po przyciągnięciu 1,5 miliona euro z funduszy

Examfly, an educational platform founded by former Davy director Deeg Lyons in 2020, has raised €1.5 million in funds to expand its operations in the UK market and double its number of employees. The Irish startup has already signed a two-year agreement with PwC in the UK and counts companies such as EY, Deloitte, and BDO among its clients.

Joining the ranks of new investors are Scale Ireland Chairman Brian Caufield and several anonymous founders. Examfly’s platform is aimed at professionals and students preparing for exams in finance, accounting, and taxation, as well as individuals participating in training and continuous professional development.

The funds raised will be used for further platform development, including improving the AI generative engine. Currently, the company employs five people. Dee Lyons stated, “Examfly is changing the learning model for students preparing for professional exams and individuals training in the field of finance. We have received very positive feedback and encouraging statistics regarding exam success rate improvement. 2023 has been a challenge for the business and startup community, but we are very pleased with the success of this funding round. The latest investment reflects the great trust our investors place in us. They see our success and share our ambitions.”

Lyons added that the company plans to expand its team as the product grows and increase its customer base in the UK and beyond. The funds raised are in addition to over €600,000 gathered through pre-seed funding in 2020, where investors included business angels and Irish firm Enterprise Ireland.
