Makini Schools wprowadza ADvLEARN – narzędzie edukacyjne oparte na uczeniu adaptacyjnym

Makini Schools, a member of the ADvTECH Group, has unveiled ADvLEARN, an educational tool based on adaptive learning technology that aims to enhance academic success.

The ADvLEARN innovation allows teachers to identify and address knowledge gaps in key subjects, ultimately leading to improved student achievement and academic excellence through the use of artificial intelligence-generated data.

The ADvLEARN platform has been successfully implemented across all 36 campuses of the ADvTECH Group schools, impacting over 13,500 students.

The main function of the platform is to enable teachers to assess the strengths and weaknesses of each student accurately. This allows teachers to tailor teaching methods to the individual needs of each student, effectively bridging learning gaps and providing a comprehensive educational experience.

According to data analysis conducted by the ADvTECH Group, students who regularly use ADvLEARN have seen significant improvements in their grades, with progress rates ranging from 15% to 29%.

Mr. Horace Mpanza, the Regional Director of Makini Schools, expressed his satisfaction with this collaboration, stating, “ADvTECH aims to deliver digital innovations in education that will enhance the quality of academic offerings in all our schools and equip students with the tools they need to succeed in today’s ever-changing learning environment.”

To support the ADvLEARN initiative, a substantial amount of 150 million shillings has been allocated for infrastructure upgrades in all Makini schools in Kenya. The upgrades include expanding Wi-Fi access both inside and outside classrooms, installing modern projectors, and introducing soundbars to facilitate smooth transitions to online lessons when necessary. Additionally, upon completing the infrastructure modernization, Makini teachers will receive the latest devices and training to enhance their pedagogical skills.

Ms. Hugo expressed full confidence in the transformative potential of ADvLEARN, stating, “We are confident that ADvLEARN will take our schools into the next phase of technology-enhanced learning, harnessing the benefits of artificial intelligence. Our community of teachers in Kenya has shown great enthusiasm for the platform, and we eagerly anticipate its successful integration into the teaching process at Makini.”

ADvTECH Group has previously introduced ADvLEARN in 36 schools in South Africa, involving over 150 teachers and more than 13,000 students.

The full implementation of ADvLEARN in all Makini schools is scheduled to be completed by May 2024.
