Nowa bateria firmy Enpower Greentech zwiększa zasięg elektrycznych pojazdów

Enpower Greentech has developed an A-Sample battery pack specifically designed for commercial Class 1 electric vehicles. The module utilizes Enpower Greentech’s “Swift” dense solid-state batteries, which contain less liquid electrolyte, making them a safer and lighter choice for e-mobility compared to other commonly used lithium-ion batteries, as highlighted by the company.

“Range anxiety has long been a concern for everyone,” said Dr. Yong Che, CTO and co-founder of Enpower Greentech. “I know our electric vehicle partners need their vehicles to stay on the road for longer periods, with deliveries of goods that always reach their destination. That’s why safety and energy density are the driving forces behind our research and development teams.”

In December 2023, a 72 kWh Swift EV pack was delivered to Ann Arbor, Michigan. Previously, other commonly used batteries provided an estimated range of 110 miles for the tested Class 1 electric vehicle, as reported by the company. With the Swift EV pack, this range was increased to 190 miles while maintaining the same dimensions, undergoing multiple tests that will contribute to the production of a B-Sample. The Swift battery has been in full commercial use since early November 2023.
