Nowości od TAG Heuer: Kolekcja Aquaracer Professional Solargraph w mniejszych rozmiarach

TAG Heuer has met the expectations of watch enthusiasts at this year’s LVMH Watch Week by releasing a new collection of Aquaracer Professional Solargraph watches in stainless steel cases with a diameter of 34 mm. These smaller solar-powered models possess the same features as their larger counterparts – water resistance up to 200 meters, a unidirectional rotating bezel, a screw-down crown, luminescent markers, and a double security clasp.

What was once considered a “women’s watch” is now truly unisex, as seen in the accompanying wristwatch photo. Indeed, the 34 mm wide and 9.5 mm thick case has universal, everyday dimensions that fit wrists measuring 40.6 mm. While the deep blue and polar blue dials may appeal more to men than the pearl dials, the technical achievement of having a solar-powered watch with a mother-of-pearl dial must be appreciated. The use of solargraphic technology requires semi-transparent dials, which necessitated certain modifications by TAG Heuer.

Collaboration with La Joux-Perret has resulted in the TH50-01 caliber, which only requires two minutes of exposure to sunlight to achieve a full charge and can operate for an entire day. 40 hours of sunlight exposure will fully charge the watch for a duration of 10 months.

The new TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph collection in 34 mm cases is priced at $2,150 for the versions with deep blue and polar blue dials, while the versions with a pearl dial are slightly more expensive – $2,350 and $2,950 respectively for the version with diamond hour markers. The watches are available now, and later this summer, a version with a pearl dial, diamond hour markers, and bezel will be released, costing $5,000.
