Free Dinner and Engaging Conversation with Ignite

Are you a student looking for an inspiring and thought-provoking experience? Look no further than Ignite, a Catholic organization that brings together college students in a welcoming community of faith and prayer.

On Wednesday, Jan. 31, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Ignite is hosting a free dinner event in the AMU Lunda Room at Marquette University.

The highlight of the evening will be a captivating talk by Megan Sheehan, the director of communications and stewardship at St. Anthony of the Lake Parish. As a Marquette alumna, spiritual director, and expert in communications, including social media, Sheehan will be speaking on the topic of “Living with Balance in the Digital Age: Social Media, Faith, & Well-Being.”

This event is not just about listening to a speaker, but it’s also an opportunity to meet new people and engage in meaningful conversations. Ignite encourages attendees to explore different approaches to social media that contribute to living a faith that does justice and promotes overall well-being.

The Ignite Bistro, sponsored by Campus Ministry, will be providing the dinner for the event. However, due to limited seating and catering capacity, no RSVP is needed. Simply show up and enjoy the free meal while immersing yourself in inspiring discussions.

For more information about this event, please contact Steve Blaha, interim director of Campus Ministry. Ignite invites all Marquette students to join them on this exciting journey of community, faith, and personal growth. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to be part of something meaningful.
