RED ogłasza nowe modele kamer V-RAPTOR

RED has officially announced the V-RAPTOR 8K VV [X] and V-RAPTOR XL 8K VV [X] camera models. The main difference compared to previous versions is the use of a global shutter. The new cameras also come with many other innovative features.

Both cameras are equipped with a Global Shutter Full-Frame VV Sensor with a resolution of 8192 x 4320 pixels and a dynamic range of over 17 stops. The global shutter is particularly useful for tracking fast-moving objects and for working in lighting conditions that cause flickering.

By using CMOS sensors with a global shutter, RED cameras allow for capturing scenes with high dynamics, providing exceptionally smooth and subtle transitions between highlights and dark areas. RED claims that these cameras offer a dynamic range of over 20 stops in Extended Highlights mode.

In addition, the V-RAPTOR cameras are equipped with the Global Vision toolset, which utilizes the global shutter sensor. These tools provide greater flexibility and convenience during production. The Extended Highlights mode allows for displaying color and details even in extremely bright areas, while ensuring smooth color transitions.

The V-RAPTOR XL [X] camera weighs 3.62 kg, while the V-RAPTOR [X] version weighs 1.82 kg. Both models allow for recording in high resolutions and support various formats and frame rates.

The V-RAPTOR cameras are now available for pre-order. The price of the V-RAPTOR XL model is $44,995, and the V-RAPTOR version costs $29,995. These new cameras with global shutter offer extra features and capabilities compared to previous versions.

The V-RAPTOR cameras prove to be successful in both visual effects production and virtual production environments. The new RED camera models provide professional filmmakers with additional tools and capabilities that facilitate and enhance the production process.
