Positive Grid wprowadza nową Spark Live i inne innowacyjne produkty na rynek

Positive Grid has already demonstrated its skills in producing increasingly compact guitar amplifiers as part of the Spark line. However, at the NAMM 2024 trade show, the company decided to spread its wings and introduce Spark Live, a portable 150-watt PA system with four speakers and four audio input channels. Instead of quiet solo practice, Spark Live is designed for band rehearsals or small concerts.

The first channel is dedicated to the guitar and utilizes the full power of Positive Grid’s modeling technology. There are 33 amplifier models and 43 effects available, which can be combined into eight different preset configurations easily accessible from the main control panel.

The second channel features a 1/4 inch/XLR combo input and provides preset settings and effects for bass, vocals, and acoustic guitar. There are also preamp models and new effects unique to Spark Live. The third and fourth channels are stereo inputs without amplifiers and effects, but they can be connected to a synthesizer, guitar amp simulator, or even a backing track from a computer.

Inside Spark Live is a sensor that dynamically adjusts the EQ based on its position. When standing upright, Live produces a more direct and powerful sound. But when lying on its side, it delivers a wider, softer stereo field. It is even equipped with adjustable stands, allowing you to direct the sound where it’s needed. It can also automatically adjust volume based on incoming signals. There is also an option to purchase an additional battery for $79, providing power to Spark Live for up to eight hours.

In addition to Spark Live, Positive Grid also announced Spark Control X, a Bluetooth foot controller for amplifiers in the Spark line. It can be connected to Spark Live or even the miniature Spark Go. It features six programmable footswitches, MIDI support, an expression pedal jack, and a built-in rechargeable battery. Positive Grid even includes three transparent overlays on which you can write with markers to indicate the function of each footswitch.

As part of the presentation at the NAMM 2024 trade show, Positive Grid also showcased Spark Link, a wireless guitar transmission system. Wireless guitar transmission systems are not new, but Positive Grid offers a competitive price of $129. The company also guarantees a range of 70 feet, which is 20 feet more than most other systems.

All the new Positive Grid products are available for pre-order directly from the manufacturer. Spark Live will be available for $549, but you can receive a $50 discount coupon during the pre-order period. Spark Control X and Spark Link can be ordered for $149 and $129, respectively.
