BMW Group and Bosch inaugurate new Digital Classroom in SLP

The collaboration between BMW Group and Bosch has resulted in the opening of a state-of-the-art Digital Classroom in San Luis Potosi. Located at the Colegio Nacional de Educación Profesional Técnica (CONALEP), Plantel Ing. Manuel Moreno Torres, this new facility represents a significant investment of $115,496.

The Digital Classroom aims to benefit a total of 1,500 students and 30 teachers during its initial launch. Equipped with cutting-edge technologies, including 3D printers for additive manufacturing, collaborative robotics, virtual reality, and design and prototyping tools, the classroom is set to revolutionize the learning experience for students.

To ensure the correct use of these digital tools, teachers will undergo extensive training, consisting of approximately 100 hours. This training program will enable them to effectively integrate technology into the curriculum and empower students to develop their knowledge and skills.

Harald Gottsche, President and CEO of BMW Group SLP, emphasized the importance of the Digital Classroom in enhancing education and preparing students for the industry. By providing an innovative learning environment, this project aims to equip students with the necessary expertise to quickly adapt and contribute to the workforce.

Susan Johnson, Commercial VP of Bosch SLP, highlighted that the Digital Classroom is part of Bosch Mexico’s ongoing commitment to strengthening dual education in the country.
