Rozszerzanie opcji samodzielnej naprawy dla urządzeń Galaxy

Samsung is introducing significant enhancements to its self-repair program, allowing for a greater variety of repairs for a larger number of models, product categories, and parts. The company is also expanding its longstanding partnership with Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, a leading provider of spare parts and logistics solutions for a diverse range of home and consumer electronics products, to provide customers with access to original parts, tools, and repair guides for smartphones, tablets, personal computers, as well as select foldable devices and home entertainment products. Overall, Samsung will offer self-repair options for nearly 50 models in its product portfolio, making it one of the most comprehensive programs in the industry.

Samsung’s self-repair program was launched in August 2022 and provides customers with an additional convenient way to extend the lifespan of their devices. This latest expansion of the program is part of the company’s commitment to adding new devices as the program evolves. Fourteen models of Galaxy smartphones, tablets, and computers have been added to the program, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Tab S9 series, and Galaxy Book2 series. The program also includes the home entertainment category, with the addition of 20 display products, including the Freestyle 2nd Gen projector.

“We know that consumers want reliable and convenient repair options to keep their devices in full working order. This expansion is another way Samsung demonstrates its ongoing commitment to providing choices for our customers,” said Mark Williams, Vice President of Customer Care at Samsung Electronics America. “For those who want to take on repairs themselves, we are providing them with more options for a wider range of products to extend the lifespan of their favorite devices.”

“Encompass has been a trusted distributor of original replacement parts for Samsung products for many years, and this expansion into new product categories will play a key role in enabling Samsung customers to easily repair their devices and extend the lifespan of their products,” said Robert Coolidge, President and CEO of Encompass Supply Chain Solutions. “Samsung’s self-repair program aligns with Encompass’ goal of improving the availability of critical parts for customers while also reducing waste and enabling savings.”
