realme 12 Pro – Smartfon średniej klasy o rozczarowującej wydajności

The realme 12 Pro, the latest mid-range smartphone, has appeared on the Geekbench database with an underwhelming performance score. While the device’s processor has been confirmed, there is not much expectation for a significant increase in computational power compared to the previous generation model. The global premiere of this phone is just a few days away.

According to the Geekbench benchmark, the realme 12 Pro, equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, achieves a score of 898 points in the single-core test and 2759 points in the multi-core test. These numbers are not impressive, as phones with the same processor usually reach around 550,000 points in the AnTuTu test. Therefore, this smartphone cannot be called a performance beast.

The reason for such a weak result is the processor, which consists of two clusters. The first cluster has four cores that operate at a frequency of up to 2.21 GHz, while the second cluster consists of four cores with a frequency of up to 1.80 GHz. Compared to other modern phones, these results are rather low. The only consolation for users is the fact that the realme 12 Pro will run on Android 14.

However, when comparing the realme 12 Pro to competing devices like the POCO X6 Pro, a significant difference in performance is noticeable. The POCO X6 Pro achieves over 1.4 million points in the AnTuTu test, while the realme 12 Pro performs much worse.

We also cannot ignore the previous model, the realme 11 Pro, which ran on the Dimensity 7050 processor. Tests have shown similar results, suggesting that the performance jump between the two models will be minimal. We can assume that the realme 12 Pro will also function stably, similar to its predecessor.

The new realme series, including the realme 12 Pro, will debut globally on January 27, 2024. Despite the manufacturer’s focus on the photographic aspect of these devices, performance cannot be forgotten, as it is one of the key factors customers pay attention to. This is certainly disappointing news for brand fans who expected much better performance in the new generation of realme 12 Pro smartphones.
