Nowa funkcja Google: Promocje i Wydarzenia w Twojej Okolicy

Google has introduced a new local search feature called Promotions and Events in Your Area.

This new SERP feature is only visible for local searches on mobile devices. It displays posts from Google My Business Profile (GBP) that promote offers and events from nearby businesses.

Why is this important? This feature gives local businesses the opportunity to increase conversions. To make the most of it, you should regularly publish and optimize content on your Google My Business (GMB) profile to increase the chances of higher rankings for your events and offers.

How does it work? The new Promotions and Events in Your Area feature was first noticed by Saad Alikhan, who shared a preview of it on X.

The feature displays four tiles, which include the business name, promotional image, and review rating.

If you select one of the tiles, Google will take you to a fullscreen offer view where you will find the business name, its location on the map, promotional image, and some accompanying text. However, the feature has not yet been noticed on Google Maps.

Competitiveness. It’s worth noting that the four-pack does not seem to have a “show more” option, which means visibility through this feature is very limited.

Placement. Observers have noticed that the new Promotions and Events in Your Area feature is usually positioned below the local pack, organic results, “People Also Ask” sections, and “People Also Search For” sections in the SERP.
