On Tuesday, January 11, the Calgary Fire Department (CFD) received a report of a house fire at around 4:00 PM in a residential block on Auburn Bay Boulevard Southeast. After a while, the CFD decided to send additional resources to the scene.
In a statement, the department reported that at the time of the fire, there were two adults and one child inside the home, but they were all able to safely evacuate. The fire destroyed the building and also damaged a neighboring house and two vehicles.

Right now, these families are renting apartments. Eventually, they will receive compensation from the insurance company, but they need our support and love in this time of need,” Sperle added.
