After a long wait, Xiaomi.eu ROMs based on HyperOS are finally available in a stable version. The new system versions are available for all phones for which Xiaomi has released appropriate updates. The full list of phones can be found on the MIUIPolska.pl forum.
The updates will be available both on the MIUIPolska.pl forum and on the official stable version download page. Screenshots can also be seen on the forum.
To install the update, if you already have Xiaomi.eu ROM in the stable version, follow the same steps as for a regular update. You will not lose any data during the update process. However, after the update, it may be necessary to update TWRP – older versions may not decrypt data and may not find new update packages.
If you are installing the ROM for the first time, you will lose your data. The ROM can be installed in two ways: through Recovery mode (if available for your model) or through Fastboot mode. Installation through Fastboot mode is simpler, but after installing the ROM, OTA updates will not work. In that case, it will be necessary to install subsequent updates using a computer. Installing the ROM through Recovery mode allows for later updates without using a computer.
