Who is Sargon?

Sargon is Savarna, the youngest member of the Immortals, embarks on a dangerous rescue mission. His task is to save the titular Prince, who has been kidnapped by a traitor. The mission leads him to the destroyed city on Mount Qaf, which has been consumed by a strange anomaly. While exploring the city, Savarna must face traps, puzzles, and dangerous enemies.

Gameplay

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown combines features of metroidvania games and action platformers. Players can switch between two modes – exploration and combat. In exploration mode, the map is devoid of most markers, and players must find their objectives on their own using hints from other characters and visual cues. The combat mode facilitates exploration but still remains challenging.

Survival Power and Combat

The game features special checkpoints – golden Wak-wak trees, which serve both as save points and health and supplies regeneration. No enemies are encountered in the vicinity of these trees, allowing for a moment of rest and planning for the next steps. The combat in the game is satisfying, requiring precision and mastery of dodges and counters.

Exploration and Equipment Upgrades

During the exploration of Mount Qaf, it is worth deviating from the main path as new abilities, side missions, and valuable items can be discovered. There is the option to take pictures of inaccessible objects to revisit them later after acquiring the appropriate skills. The player’s equipment consists of talismans and two types of weapons – swords and bows. The talismans offer various bonuses and can be upgraded.

Graphics and Challenges

The graphics in the game are impressive, and the area to explore is vast, but sometimes the platforming sections can be demanding and frustrating. They require quick reactions and swift deduction. Occasionally, numerous traps can complicate the task.
