Hit inpired by Pokemon franchise Palworld to debut in early access next week

Studio Pocketpair has announced the release date for their highly anticipated game Palworld, which draws inspiration from the beloved Pokemon series. The game will be available in early access on January 19th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. Excitingly, Palworld will also be included in the Xbox Game Pass subscription service.

Accompanying the announcement is a captivating new trailer that showcases the appearance of various creatures and highlights the game’s stunning graphics.

Take Care of Your Companions or Consume Them

Palworld shares some similarities with the popular Pokemon games. In this Pocketpair production, players can capture colorful creatures called Pals, which can be utilized to fight against enemies, including powerful bosses. However, unlike the Game Freak series, Palworld allows our companions to wield a range of firearms, including bazookas. The game also offers numerous interesting activities for players to explore.

The primary objective of Palworld seems to be nurturing and preserving the well-being of the Pals. Players must take on the responsibility of providing their creatures with food and training. If the Pals are mistreated or neglected, they may turn against their owners. Similarly, players themselves need to ensure their own needs are met as they venture into different biomes. In extreme cases, players can even consume their own Pals…

Palworld also offers a plethora of other engaging gameplay features. Players can develop their own farms, construct structures like pyramids, and even manage factories. Captured creatures, which the developers claim are exempt from labor laws, can assist with these tasks.

The Pals can accompany players on their journeys, aiding them in battling through perilous dungeons. In addition, the main character is not defenseless, as they have access to an array of weapons, including guns, swords, and bows. If the situation becomes overwhelming, players can mount their creatures, some of which possess the ability to fly or swim, and make a swift escape to safety.

Palworld allows for solo play or cooperative multiplayer mode with up to 4 players, enabling thrilling joint adventures. Similar to the Pokemon series, players will also have the opportunity to trade creatures with one another.

Is Palworld Poised for Success?

Palworld has generated significant interest and anticipation, evident by its current ranking as the 10th most wishlisted game on Steam. According to data from SteamDB, over 113,000 people are following the game on Valve’s platform.
