Sieciowa strzelanka Helldivers 2 z funkcją cross-play. Użytkownicy PlayStation 5 niezadowoleni z dodatkowych opłat za grę online

The online shooter game, Helldivers 2, which is set to debut on February 8th, will feature cross-play functionality between PlayStation 5 and PC platforms. However, Sony console owners are not pleased with the fact that they will have to pay an additional PlayStation Plus subscription fee to access the online game mode, while PC gamers do not have this requirement.

The announcement regarding cross-play support was confirmed by Sony, along with the publication of hardware requirements for the PC version. It was stated that PlayStation 5 owners will be able to play together with PC users.

However, the information at the end of the announcement regarding the necessity of a PlayStation Plus subscription did not sit well with console gamers. In the comments section, they expressed their dissatisfaction, feeling that they are being treated unfairly compared to PC gamers. Opinions such as “So PS5 players have to pay for online play again, while PC gamers, despite using PSN, do not have to do this” and “I also don’t like that we are still forced to buy PS Plus to play online, while PC gamers don’t have to” are frequently seen in the comments.

Additionally, some console users express reluctance towards cross-platform gameplay, fearing that encounters with PC gamers may negatively impact the game quality on PlayStation 5.

Helldivers 2 will be released on February 8th for PC and PlayStation 5, with Polish subtitles available.
