Nowe procesory Intel Core 14. generacji – więcej mocy dla komputerów i laptopów

Intel has just unveiled its latest 14th generation Core processors, which are set to hit the market for computers and laptops. This release should not come as a surprise, as the new models offer similar capabilities to their predecessors.

Processors for Desktop Computers
In the case of desktop computers, the lineup has been expanded with standard models, this time without overclocking options. The new processors are essentially refreshed versions of the 12th and 13th generation models. They still have a hybrid architecture that combines Golden Cove and Gracemont cores (Alder Lake) or Raptor Cove and Gracemont cores (Raptor Lake).

In most cases, the changes in the new processors are cosmetic and only involve slightly higher clock speeds. However, some models, such as the Core i5-14600 and Core i7-14700/14700F, have received larger L3 cache capacities and a higher number of E-Core cores. Thanks to the higher clock speeds, these processors should provide a slight performance boost.

The good news is that the new processors are compatible with existing LGA 1700 motherboards from the 600 and 700 series. So, if you have older hardware, you can upgrade it by simply updating the BIOS to the new version.

Processors for Laptops
In addition to desktop processors, Intel has also prepared new units for laptops. The 14th generation Core HX processors will be featured in the most powerful gaming laptops and mobile workstations.

Compared to previous generations, the new 14th generation Core processors for laptops are also refreshed versions of the 12th and 13th generation models. Intel claims that its processors are the most efficient units available on the market.

Intel has prepared five models of the 14th generation Core HX processors, which have a high TDP rating of 55W. Furthermore, the manufacturer is introducing a new technology called Intel Application Optimization (APO), which can improve laptop performance by several to several dozen percent.

According to the manufacturer’s announcement, soon users will have a choice of over 60 different laptop models with 14th generation Core processors offered by companies such as Acer, Alienware, ASUS, Gigabyte, HP, Lenovo, MSI, and Razer.
