Uwaga! Nowe zasady dotyczące treści na Xbox Network

Attention! Xbox players have received an important message regarding the uploading of their screenshots and video clips to the Xbox Network servers. Starting tomorrow, all materials created more than 90 days ago will be permanently deleted from the system. To avoid losing this content, it is recommended to create a backup copy as soon as possible.

How to create a backup copy?
– In the console’s main menu, select “Captures.”
– Then click on the “Manage” option.
– The next step is to mark the materials you want to keep.
– Once you do that, the option “Upload to OneDrive” or “Copy to external storage” will appear on the right side of the screen – you can choose which storage method you prefer.

If you want to protect yourself from potential loss of your “memories” in the future, you can choose in the console settings for the saved materials to always go to one of the mentioned places above.

WHY WERE THESE CHANGES IMPLEMENTED?
Microsoft is implementing these changes to reduce server load and improve the performance of Xbox Network. Removing older materials will help optimize the service and provide a better experience for users.

IS THIS POLICY CHARGEABLE?
No, creating a backup copy does not incur any additional costs. Backup copies can be stored on your own external hard drive or in the OneDrive cloud, where Microsoft offers a free storage limit.
