Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Series to Debut on January 4th

After a long wait, Xiaomi fans in India can finally breathe a sigh of relief as the highly anticipated Redmi Note 13 series will make its debut on January 4th. While the exact number of models that will be released in the Indian market has not been confirmed, it is highly likely that the lineup will include the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, which have already been launched in China.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G are equipped with impressive features that are sure to attract technology enthusiasts. These smartphones feature 6.67-inch AMOLED displays with a 1.5K Full-HD+ resolution and a 16-megapixel front camera, providing visual delights. In terms of performance, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G is equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC.

Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi, is actively promoting the upcoming launch through social media and a dedicated page on its website. The anticipation is growing as fans eagerly await the official start.

Although Redmi has not yet revealed details regarding the prices, recent leaks suggest that the Redmi Note 13 Pro may be priced around Rs 40,700, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ may have a price of around Rs 45,000. In China, the prices for the Redmi Note 13 start from 1,199 CNY, the Redmi Note 13 Pro starts from 1,499 CNY, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ starts from 1,999 CNY. It is expected that the Indian variants will have similar prices.

It is expected that the Indian versions of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G will offer similar specifications and design to their Chinese counterparts. Teasers reveal slim bezels and a punch-hole cutout in the display for the front camera. Both smartphones are likely to have IP68 certification, indicating dust and water resistance.

Powered by Android 13 with MIUI 14, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G are said to feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The cameras are expected to deliver excellent photo quality, thanks to the 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 main sensor with OIS, and a 16-megapixel front camera. The Redmi Note 13 Pro will have a 5,100mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
