Poco has announced the release of its latest smartphone, the Poco M6 5G, in India on December 22nd. This comes after the successful launch of the Poco M6 Pro 5G earlier this year.
While the design of the upcoming Poco M6 5G has already been teased, the company has now revealed the price range of the phone through a teaser on Poco Community. The smartphone is expected to be priced below 20,000 Rs, making it one of the most affordable 5G phones in the market.
Additionally, Poco India has confirmed that the Poco M6 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, which ensures fast and efficient performance. The phone will be available in two stunning colors – Galaxy Black and Hunter Blue.
Interestingly, the Poco M6 5G is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi 13C 5G. This means that both phones are likely to have similar specifications. The Redmi 13C 5G, which was launched earlier this month, is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor and offers various memory configurations, ranging from 4GB+128GB to 8GB+256GB.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Poco M6 5G will feature a dual-camera system with a 50-megapixel primary lens. Detailed information about the second lens is still unknown.
Furthermore, the Poco M6 5G is expected to have a large HD+ LCD display with a high refresh rate of 90Hz. It will run on MIUI 14, based on Android 13.
