LG Introduces Dual-Hz Monitor with Higher Resolution and Faster Refresh Rate

LG unveils the world’s first Dual-Hz monitor, combining higher resolution and faster refresh rates. The LG UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE monitor features a 32-inch OLED panel with 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 px). With the Dual-Hz technology, users have the option to switch to Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 px) with a 480 Hz refresh rate.

The higher resolution ensures better image quality, which will be appreciated by both gamers and professionals. The monitor boasts an impressive 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio and excellent DCI-P3 color reproduction of 98.5%. The faster refresh rate, although it may lead to a slight deterioration in image quality, is a significant advantage for eSports enthusiasts.

Furthermore, the monitor provides smooth motion without stuttering or tearing, thanks to support for the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 standard, as well as Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies. It offers two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 for connecting various devices. To enhance user convenience, the monitor has an adjustable stand that allows for tilt, swivel, and pivot rotation.

The price and availability of the monitor have not been announced yet. Do you think a higher refresh rate at the expense of lower resolution is a good idea? Share your questions in our FAQ section below.
