Beeper Provides Access to iMessage on Android Through iPhone Jailbreak

When Apple blocked access to iMessage on Android, the Beeper platform considered an alternative solution. A recently deleted blog post from Beeper, which was recovered using the WayBack Machine Internet Archive, reveals another approach for Beeper Cloud and Beeper Mini – iPhone jailbreak.

According to Beeper, users can jailbreak their older model iPhones, such as 6, 6s, SE1, 7, 8, or X, and use them as a bridge for iMessage. The instructions, which take 5 to 10 minutes, allow the installation of the Beeper tool and the update of the Beeper Mini app on the Android phone. After completing the process, users can enter the generated code and activate their phone number. To ensure continuous functionality, the iPhone must be connected to power, connected to Wi-Fi, and left at home.

Beeper’s previous issues with generating registration data for iMessage were due to the use of a fleet of Mac servers, which were an “easy target” for Apple. Thousands of Beeper users were using the same set of registration data, making them vulnerable to interference from Apple.

Although the blog post has been deleted, and Beeper does not provide any information about it, these reports indicate the company’s determination to overcome Apple’s limitations and enable Android users to have full access to iMessage. Beeper continues to search for innovative solutions that help bridge the gap between different communication platforms.
