Jak zbudować dobrą bazę w Palworld

How to Build a Good Base in Palworld

2024-01-27

Building a base is one of the first tasks you’ll undertake when starting your adventure in Palworld. The base will evolve as you progress in the game, so it’s important to choose the right location and construction to avoid many problems in the future. Here are some tips to keep in mind!

Choose a flat, undisturbed location

After placing the Palbox, you’ll see a large blue circle surrounding it – this is the area where you can build your base. It’s important for this area to be as free of hills, cliffs, water, and other obstacles as possible. You’ll need plenty of space for structures and buildings you want to construct in the future. Your goal is to avoid situations where Palos get stuck and are unable to move, which ultimately leads to hunger, fatigue, and illness. The clearer the base, the lower the risk of such situations!

Provide access to available resources nearby

If there are accessible resources in the area of your base, such as wood, ore, Paldium, and stones, the Palos working in your base can gather them during their work. You’ll need a large amount of resources to progress in the game, so it’s worth starting to gather them as soon as possible.

Build a ranch for Vixy

The Ranch is unlocked at level 5 in the Palworld technology tree. You can assign any Pal with the ability to cultivate plants to the Ranch, and they will produce species-specific items – Chikipi lays eggs, and Mozzarina produces milk. However, the most useful Pal to start with is Vixy, who provides Palberries and Arrows, which are incredibly useful for catching other Palos – you’ll soon realize you’ll need hundreds of them!

Place food crates and boxes near workstations

Palos with the ability to transport will carry gathered or mined resources to nearby crates. To avoid wasting time on long walks across the map, place crates close to workstations that dispense materials. Also, make sure each workstation is close enough to the Feeding Box for Palos to take a lunch break without a long walk.

Quickly switch materials to stone

At some point, your base will be attacked by groups of Palos or other enemies who will try to destroy your Palos and structures. If your base is made of flammable materials, there is a risk that Palos with explosive or fire-based attacks will set it on fire. Fire spreads extremely quickly, so there’s a high risk of losing everything connected to a burning structure. Stone material is unlocked at level 18!
