The new iVAM2-12G model, building on the success of the iVAM1-12G device, introduced in mid-2022, can monitor and measure 12G-SDI audio and video signals on 16 channels, along with 2-channel analog audio signals, all in a compact 2U form factor. With 64 factory presets and dual touch screens, operators can easily switch between video display, sound levels, volume measurements, and menus. An HDMI output allows for external monitor preview while processing the signal, and XLR, headphone, and 3G-SDI analog outputs are also available as standard.
For greater flexibility, the rear panel can be upgraded to monitor AES3, MADI 64 (including fiber optic option), SMPTE 2110, and SMPTE 2022-6 signals. An option card slot allows for a choice of upgrade – an AoIP card supporting Dante or Ravenna options (both offering SMPTE 2110-30 and reliable SMPTE 2022-7), or a card with 8 additional analog input and output channels.
A dual 4.3-inch touch screen display is designed based on proven solutions from the iAM series, while physical controls on the front panel provide access to depth of sound, balance, and additional controllers. Individual audio channels can be combined, muted, or silenced with both touch screen and button controls.
The front USB port is used for software updates and support for new technologies, and the network interface allows for remote management. Integration with external controllers is simple and intuitive thanks to API interfaces. The device is perfectly suited for professional monitoring of various signals in different applications.
