The head of Samsung’s digital health team, Dr. Hon Pak, revealed this ambition during an interview with Bloomberg. While there is no concrete timeline, Dr. Pak expressed hope that within the next five years, Samsung’s Galaxy family of health trackers, which includes smartwatches and a newly announced sensor-filled ring, could incorporate a needle-free glucose sensor.
