Major Changes in Gothic Remake – Discover New Game Information

THQ Nordic and Alkimia Interactive studio have shared several new pieces of information about the Gothic Remake game with fans. During the third episode of the podcast, the creators revealed some details about the Old Camp, mods, and confirmed certain fan speculations.

One interesting piece of information is that Gothic Remake may feature an equivalent of the “marvin mode” from the original game. This is a developer mode that allows entering commands and codes.

The creators also discussed the Old Camp, one of the key locations in the game. It will look exactly like in the trailer. All the scenes we have seen in it can happen “live,” although in a different, random order.

The game will also feature various accents depending on the camp we are dealing with. For example, residents of the Old Camp will speak with an East London Cockney accent.

The creators also talked about the expanded hunting skills that will be essential for the Nameless Hero’s survival in the wilderness. The demo showcased a new campfire where players will be able to prepare their first meals.

Unfortunately, we still don’t know the exact release date of the game, but the creators have promised that gameplay will be presented soon.
