Nowa bateria CATL z rewolucyjnym ładowaniem dla Neta Auto

Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) has announced that it will supply Chinese automotive company Neta Auto with its new fast-charging battery, which can help overcome range anxiety that currently hinders the development of electric vehicles. The lithium-iron-phosphate Shenxing battery will be used in Neta Auto’s upcoming SUV model, CATL said in a statement published on social media on Wednesday.

The battery giant, based in Ningde, unveiled its Shenxing battery in August. According to the company, this battery can be charged in 10 minutes and allow for a range of 400 kilometers. A full charge provides a range of over 700 kilometers. Furthermore, the CATL battery is also capable of functioning in extreme weather conditions.

CATL has announced that the new battery will be commercially available in the first half of 2024. Guangzhou Automobile Group and Chery Automobile have been confirmed as customers. Avatr, an electric vehicle brand owned by Chongqing Changan Automobile Co. Ltd., announced in August that it is one of the first electric vehicle manufacturers to adopt this new technology.

The new CATL Shenxing battery is another step towards the development of electric vehicles, eliminating barriers related to charging time and range. With the renowned 10-minute charging time, drivers no longer need to worry about the limited range of their electric vehicles. This breakthrough achievement can accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles and contribute to a more sustainable future of transportation.
