A new chapter in the long-awaited Square Enix Mana series, titled Visions of Mana, is getting closer. The studio announced during this year’s The Game Awards that the latest action RPG will be released this year. At the Xbox Developer Direct Showcase on January 19th, Square Enix revealed many details, which we will now present for the convenience of all interested parties.
The release date and platforms for Visions of Mana have not been confirmed yet. However, it is known that the game is set to be released in the summer (which means at the end of winter and the beginning of spring) on store shelves and digital stores. If there are no delays, the game should be available between July and September. This is the perfect time for medium-scale productions that hope to benefit from holiday interest in pre-Christmas hits. As for platforms, Visions of Mana will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, and PlayStation 4. It is not yet certain if the game will appear on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, or in the Game Pass/PlayStation Plus services in the future.
