Realme 12 Pro Series to Launch in India: Specifications and Pricing Revealed

Realme has officially announced that the Realme 12 Pro series will be launched in India on January 29. While previous expectations were for the release of the Realme 12 Pro and Realme Pro+ models, a recent listing on the Flipkart website has divulged important details about the upcoming device.

According to the listing, spotted by 91mobiles, the Realme 12 Pro Max will be available in the color “Submarine Blue” and will feature a curved display. It is also confirmed to come with 8GB of RAM as a starting variant.

Additionally, a leak from tipster Yogesh Brar has shed light on key specifications and pricing for the Realme 12 Pro Max variant. According to Brar’s post, the smartphone is expected to start at ₹33,999 for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant, while the 12GB RAM/256GB storage option could be priced at ₹35,999. The leak also suggests that the device may boast a 64MP OIS portrait camera and a 50MP Sony IMX890 OIS camera sensor. Moreover, the Realme 12 Pro Max may feature a luxury watch-inspired design, as previously teased by the Chinese smartphone maker.

Although the display specifications of the Realme 12 Pro Max have not been fully revealed, the leak hints at a Curved vision display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is also anticipated to run on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14.

Meanwhile, the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ 5G models are expected to be powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipsets, respectively. On the other hand, the Realme 12 Pro+ will feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 64MP telephoto lens with optical zoom capabilities, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
