The Pixel falls short in terms of brightness and reflection-free usage when compared to the S24 Ultra’s anti-reflection properties and curved titanium frame, which provide a superior and more modern experience.
Despite its design flaws, the Pixel 8 Pro has managed to win over some users with its reliability and simplicity. No software issues have been reported, and the phone performs efficiently with fast processing speeds. What sets it apart is that it doesn’t overwhelm users with an abundance of features and distractions like the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Instead, it offers a streamlined experience that caters to the essentials.
However, one cannot ignore the fact that the Pixel 8 Pro comes with a hefty price tag. The non-Pro version, the Google Pixel 8, offers similar features and the same excellent main camera at a more reasonable price of $700.
Ultimately, the lackluster design choices of the Pixel 8 Pro make it hard to fully justify its high cost. With alternative options available in the market, such as its own sibling, the Pixel 8, consumers may choose a more affordable yet equally satisfying smartphone experience.
