Unikalny Facelifting Nissan Juke z niesamowitym wnętrzem

Nissan has decided to undergo a significant modernization of its popular crossover, the Juke, in order to maintain its position at the top of the car sales list. The third generation of the Juke is approaching its fifth year of sales, and last year it sold a record-breaking 31,745 units in the UK, making it one of the best-selling cars in the country.

The main goal of the modernization was to improve quality and ease of use. New materials have been introduced, the finish has been enhanced, the touchscreen has been enlarged, and smartphone connectivity has been improved.

Instead of using quotes, engineer Stephane Gandy explains that their main aim was to create a feeling as if they were in a fighter jet. They worked on the positioning and orientation of the screen to achieve the right atmosphere inside the car.

In addition, a new top-level trim, N-Sport, has been introduced, which sits above the existing Acenta Premium and N-Connecta versions. Meanwhile, the basic Visia version has been discontinued due to only accounting for 1% of total sales.

Changes have been made to the touchscreen menu to make it more intuitive to use. The ability to customize widgets for the most frequently used functions has also been added. The screen is now slightly inclined towards the driver to facilitate operation while driving. An alcohol tester has been installed in the glove compartment, which will be activated when required by UK legal regulations.

The N-Connecta and higher versions have also received a new configurable 12.3-inch digital display, which offers a three-dimensional effect and the ability to display navigation between the tachometer and speedometer.

In order to provide greater convenience of use, several minor changes have been made. The spaciousness of the glove compartment has been increased, the handbrake is now electrically operated as standard, and the EV mode button in hybrid cars has been relocated for easier access.

In terms of the external appearance, the Nissan Juke has undergone only minor changes, such as new designs for the aluminum wheels and low rolling resistance tires in the hybrid version to reduce CO2 emissions.

Unfortunately, when asked about the possibility of switching to electric power, engineer Gandy responded that the car’s architecture is not adapted for this type of propulsion. However, the manufacturer assures that in the future they will introduce an electric version of the Juke to the market.

The engines remain unchanged. The version with the 1.0 Turbo engine is available with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid versions feature a 1.6 gasoline engine, an electric motor, and a 1.2 kWh battery.

The production of the Juke will continue at Nissan’s manufacturing plant in Sunderland, and deliveries of the new version are expected later this year. The price has not yet been announced, but a slight increase is expected compared to the current starting price of £20,985.
