Devil May Cry: Peak Of Combat – Zabójczy powrót na ekranie telefonu

This month’s list of the most interesting new mobile games includes Devil May Cry and a Titanfall clone, but are they any good?

Among this month’s mobile games, you can find the excellent free construction game Assembly Line 2, the cartoonish B.E.A.S.T. game, reminiscent of Titanfall, available on Apple Arcade, and Devil May Cry: Peak Of Combat – Capcom’s new invasion into the world of mobile gaming.

B.E.A.S.T. is a charming cartoonish third-person game inspired by Titanfall 2, where you and two teammates fight on brightly colored arenas, shooting enemies and gathering power to summon massive combat mechs.
Each mech deals more damage and has special abilities that help kill as many enemies as possible while avoiding getting hurt. Currently, the game’s meta seems to mainly rely on constantly waiting for enemy respawns.
Although everything works as intended, the game still doesn’t seem too convincing, perhaps because most of the enemies are bots. The potential is huge, but whether it will be realized in the coming months remains to be seen.

Assembly Line 2 is a strategy and factory simulator game for mobile devices. You start with a production unit and a sales location, gradually collecting currency to buy more components to gradually expand your micro-factory.
Earn money, unlock new components and blueprints that allow you to create increasingly complex products sold at higher prices. The game combines tactical assembly line construction with an idle gameplay mechanism, where resources accumulate even when you’re offline.
Initially, the interface may be a bit clunky, but you quickly get used to it. The graphics are simple but effective, and the gameplay becomes more and more complex, resulting in a pleasant addiction.

Tiny Quest: Idle RPG Game is an RPG game for mobile phones that looks like a charming 16-bit adventure game with a touch of Secret Of Mana. The player controls upgrades and makes decisions about when and whether to spend money to speed up the process. Unfortunately, the abundance of currency, summoning characters, and combining them into one make you forget that practically everything happens automatically, without your involvement.
To obtain many rewards, you have to watch (very long) ads, which makes the game colorful and fun but mainly focuses on forcing paid advertisements. In other words, it lacks joy.

Ghor is a classic 8-bit game where you play as a barbarian fighting with an axe. Your hero only attacks when you move, so you must constantly run and jump through the level, avoiding traps and collecting power-ups that temporarily give you immense strength.
If you play on an iPad, the game will be partially enlarged to fit the screen, and the touch controls are difficult to find without looking. Besides that, it is as basic as its graphics suggest.

Devil May Cry: Peak Of Combat is the mobile version of the popular action game series. Unfortunately, the tradition of turning the best console and PC series into tedious cash-grabs with a gacha system and microtransactions makes this game rely on payments rather than player skills.
The battles look stylish, and your demon-hunting heroes jump and perform combo-induced character switching at key moments. However, beneath the surface, the combat is alarmingly simplified.
Stamina, the only required currency for character development, is provided in minimal amounts, making the only efficient way to progress in this offensive and player-exploiting version of the beloved series to pay real money.

Words In Progress is a mobile game where you create words from available letters, adding more letters as they fit. You can play in an endless mode, where you try to keep the game going for as long as possible, and compete with friends or random opponents online.
The game interface works, but the game itself seems a bit unfinished, lacking instructions and basic interactions. It’s not terribly bad, but in its current state, it feels unfinished, which is quite appropriate for a game whose name refers to the term “work in progress.”
