Samsung Galaxy A55 – Powrót do metalowej ramy i premium wykonania?

New press photos of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A55 model have been published by Android Headlines, sparking a lot of interest. Compared to previous models in the Galaxy A series, the new smartphone may return to premium elements and a metal frame.

The initial models in the Galaxy A series stood out with a thin layer of metal covering the casing, but later generations abandoned this element in favor of cheaper materials, mainly plastic. Now it seems that Samsung plans to return to its roots and use a metal frame in the Galaxy A55, which, combined with a glass back and waterproof capabilities, could signify a complete premium design.

Visually, the Galaxy A55 has a sleek appearance, but on the edges of the casing, antenna lines can be observed, suggesting that they are made of metal. The only compromise in the design concerns the “chin” below the screen, which is visible and not as slim as in more expensive Samsung models.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 is expected to feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a main 50MP camera, and an Exynos 1480 processor with graphics based on AMD RDNA2 architecture.

There is no information yet about the release date, but the previous generation was unveiled in mid-March 2023.
