The release of Palworld Early Access was not without its flaws. Developer, Pocketpair, quickly responded to player frustrations and fixed many problematic issues in the game. The latest patch continues this trend, introducing several new and necessary improvements on both Xbox and Steam platforms.
Effects are working correctly!
As we previously mentioned in our troubleshooting guide regarding Lifmunk Effects issues that were supposed to increase the chances of catching Pals, you can now confidently rely on small green statuettes to improve your chances of acquiring new creatures. (Previously, there was a bug that sometimes caused the opposite effect than intended.)
Reduced chances of data corruption
One of the main focuses of Pocketpair’s fixes was addressing issues with saved data. Previously, there was a risk of losing saved data when reaching a certain number of Pals. Now this problem has been fixed, as indicated in the patch notes:
– Fixed a bug that caused game crashes and data corruption when the guild’s overall captured Pals reached around 7000.
– In the previous patch, the data that was already in this state (for servers, server world data) remained in a corrupted state that prevented them from loading. After applying this patch, they will be fully repaired and loaded correctly.
Grenades no longer disappear
If you’ve noticed your weapons suddenly disappearing when using grenades in multiplayer gameplay, you can now confidently throw your grenades, just like Solid Snake fighting a tank.
After battles, you’ll also be pleased to know that your base should now operate more efficiently.
Persistent sleeping Pals and other improvements in your bases
According to the patch notes, Pals assigned to breeding farms would fall asleep and “never wake up.” Though this sounds very envy-inducing, it’s not ideal when trying to optimize the work of this lazy workforce.
Additionally, the latest patch ensures regular tree wood acquisition by Pals. You will no longer waste your time unproductively.
In addition to “anti-cheating and exploitation measures,” version v0.1.4.1 brings many necessary improvements. As always, you can report bugs by clicking the “Report Bugs and Issues” option in the main menu or using the form on the Pocketpair website.
