Nowa seria smartfonów Realme 12 z peryskopowym obiektywem

Realme is soon launching a new mid-range smartphone series called Realme 12, featuring several interesting features, including a periscope lens.

According to reports, the Realme 12 series will consist of at least two models: Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+. There is also a possibility of a third, simpler model called Realme 12.

The Realme 12 phones have been found in the database of the certification authority TENAA with the codenames RMX3841 and RMX3843. While it is unclear which models these codes refer to, it is highly likely that they are the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+. The TENAA database also includes photos of these phones.

The photos reveal the distinctive design known from previous Realme models, such as the Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+, with leather backs and prominently featured lenses that resemble the cameras of Huawei and Honor.

The manufacturer has not yet disclosed the full specifications of these phones but suggests that the Realme 12 Pro series will bring numerous improvements in the field of photography.

The previous model, Realme 11 Pro+, is equipped with a 200 MP camera. Now, the manufacturer hints that the new phones will not only have a main sensor with such resolution but also a periscope telephoto lens. This is likely referring to the Realme 12 Pro+ model, which is the continuation of the previous generation. The periscope telephoto lens will be paired with a 64 MP sensor (OmniVision OV64B), enabling a 3x optical zoom.

The periscope lens may also be featured in the Realme 12 Pro model, but this time it will utilize a 32 MP IMX709 sensor and provide a 2x optical zoom.

According to reports, the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ smartphones will be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chips. More technical details remain a mystery for now.

More information about the Realme 12 series will likely be revealed on January 4th when the manufacturer unveils its new phones. Source: Telepolis.pl, TENAA
