Microsoft has just announced plans to release new generations of the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 next year. According to unofficial information, both devices will be equipped with the latest Intel Meteor Lake and Qualcomm Snapdragon X processors.

The Surface Laptop 6 will feature a refreshed design, including thinner screen bezels and rounded corners. It will be available in two screen sizes – 13.8 inches and 15 inches, which means a slight increase compared to the previous model. The laptop will also have new ports, including two USB-C ports, one USB-A port, and a Surface Connect port. Other new features include a haptic touchpad and a dedicated Microsoft Copilot key, which will provide easier access to functions.

The hardware specifications of the Surface Laptop 6 will offer various options, ranging from 8GB to 64GB of RAM, as well as storage space from 256GB to 2TB.

Compared to the previous generation, the Surface Pro 10 will also receive improvements in the form of a better display. Higher brightness, HDR support, and an anti-reflective coating are the main new features. Like the Surface Laptop 6, the display corners will be rounded. We can also expect additional features such as an NFC reader and a wider field-of-view camera.

Both the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 will be available with both Intel Meteor Lake and Qualcomm Snapdragon X processors. An important feature that both devices will have is the presence of a Neural Processing Unit (NPU), which will enable full utilization of artificial intelligence.

It is worth mentioning that the information about the new devices comes from the Windows Central service, which is known for reliable information about Microsoft hardware.
