Furthermore, education in Ghana has also benefited from the digital transformation, with schools enjoying free internet access and other digital offerings. For example, OLA Girls emerged as winners of the 2023 edition of the National Cybersecurity Challenge.
Mrs. Bawumia pledges to collaborate with the school’s alumni association to enhance technology and entrepreneurial education. During the grand durbar, awards and citations were presented to deserving individuals, while the school authorities expressed concerns about infrastructure challenges and inadequate staffing. They appealed to the government for support in constructing classrooms, dining halls, and dormitories, as well as acquiring school buses and utility vehicles.
Prior to the durbar, Mrs. Bawumia initiated the construction of a 700-bed dormitory block for the school and promised continued support for its completion.
