Wyłączne prawa do gry “Silent Hill 2 Remake” podtrzymują oczekiwania inwestorów, mimo spadku wartości akcji Bloober Teamu

On Thursday morning, Bloober Team’s stocks experienced a decrease of over 15% with high trading volume, marking the largest depreciation on the Warsaw Stock Exchange for the day. Although there are no official reports explaining the cause of this decline, it is worth noting that a trailer for the game “Silent Hill 2 Remake” was recently released online. It is the exclusive rights to this game that are maintaining investor expectations, although opinions on the presented material are mixed.

According to the industry website lowcygier.pl, “The overall look isn’t bad, but opinions about what we’ve seen are mixed. The unattractive graphics, reminiscent of the PS3 era, and wooden animations are particularly criticized.”

Bloober Team, a game developer, made its debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW) with modest gains for investors. The company’s management plans to intensify their informational campaign in 2024 as they progress with new productions.

Although the game’s release date has not been announced yet, it is expected to hit the market in 2024. The project is being developed in collaboration with the Japanese giant, Konami. The “Silent Hill” series gained popularity with the release of the first game on the PlayStation console in 1999.

The transfer of Bloober Team from NewConnect to the main GPW market was a significant step for the company. Currently, the stock price is just below PLN 24, which affects the company’s market capitalization, reaching nearly PLN 0.5 billion.
